Galactic Windmill

Description

"Galactic Windmill" The weather has been pretty rubbish for star shooting here lately but I figure if you just keep trying eventually your stars shall align (pun intended Giggle) and you'll finally capture some magic... last night was one of those moments when the night was absolutely perfectly clear but when got to the original place I intended to shoot the fog was so thick you could have carved chunks out of it with a knife or taken a spoon and eaten it like ice cream... I was pretty disappointed but rather than giving up and admitting defeat I decided to drive around for a bit and see if I could find a patch of thinner fog, I had almost given up hope when a light breeze kicked up and started dissipating the fog in a cow paddock that had an old windmill in it and I managed to capture a handful of great shots before the fog closed in on me again. And the moral of the story is that I'm really glad I decided to stick around and wait to see if the conditions would get better because it was so worth it =D
